Why We Built This Site
Texas permits public access to many case records, but Stephens County uses a split clerk system. The District Clerk keeps 90th Judicial District Court felony, district civil, and family files. The County Clerk handles county-court records, including misdemeanor and probate matters, while the JP and municipal court maintain their own lower-court dockets. The county posts dated docket PDFs, and re:SearchTX can provide a statewide layer for eligible civil material. Organizing these separate routes helps readers avoid mistaking eFileTexas, a property index, or a payment portal for the complete court record.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, not part of the 90th Judicial District Court, a Stephens County clerk's office, or any Texas agency. Those boundaries mean:
- We cannot issue a certified docket, order, or other court document
- We cannot alter, seal, remove, or correct an entry in a court file
- We cannot set, reset, or confirm a hearing for the court
- We cannot retrieve an official docket sheet or case file on a visitor's behalf
- We cannot interpret a case or offer legal advice
- We cannot promise that a listed fee, setting, telephone number, or procedure has not changed
An official or certified record must come from its custodian. In Stephens County, that may be the District Clerk, County Clerk, Justice of the Peace, or Breckenridge Municipal Court, depending on the court and case type.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes on some pages and control their own results, fees, and service terms. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports this free reference site. We neither set the provider's prices nor determine which records it returns.
